Merging Contacts in Gmail

Do you have duplicate contacts in Gmail?

You can combine them using the Merge feature.

To do this,
  1. Put a check mark next to the duplicate names that you want to merge.
  2. Click More above your email list.
  3. Select Merge Contacts.
Your merged contacts will now show as one single contact.  When you return to your contact list, all duplicates will be gone.
